Inkobon Dojo: Official Submission Rules
1. Entry Requirements & Technical Specs

Page Count: Minimum 20 pages, Maximum 55 pages.

Format: One-shot (self-contained story) in Left-to-Right reading format.

Art Standard: High-resolution (300+ DPI). Black & white/Grayscale is the standard; limited color is preferred for the first 1–3 pages only.

Originality: 100% original IP. No AI-generated imagery, fan-fiction, or previously serialized works.
2. The Prize: The "Path to Inkobon"
The Dojo is the official scouting ground for the main magazine.

The Reward: The winning one-shot will be selected for a paid feature in an upcoming volume of Monthly Shonen Inkobon Magazine.

Professional Contract: Selection for the magazine will involve a professional publication agreement and inclusion in the digital/print distribution channels alongside the main roster.

Editorial Support: Winners will receive direct editorial feedback from the Inkobon team to polish the work for its magazine debut.
3. Intellectual Property & Ownership

Creator Sovereignty: You own your your series. The creator retains 100% ownership of the IP.

Hosting License: By submitting to the Dojo, you grant Inkobon Manga LLC a non-exclusive license to host the work on the Dojo site for public viewing and promotion.

Exclusivity Period: If selected for the magazine feature, a limited exclusivity period for that specific chapter will be negotiated as part of the publication contract.
4. Eligibility & Conduct

Age: Must be 18 years or older to submit.

Multiple Entries: Limit of two (2) entries per submission window.
5. Submission Window

Date: Since we are still a small team, Dojo will remain seasonal in its open submission windows. The current submission window ends Sept-01-2026
